Come and join us on 21st November 2015. We will help you lobby your MP on Climate Change.
Monday 8th June, 20:00 – 21.30pm
Venue: Kidlington Sainsbury’s Coffee Shop.
A chance to chat about climate change – there is some good news out there.
Come to discuss environmental issues and give & get ideas to help.
The cafe stops serving at 20:00, so if you want a coffee come earlier to buy it.
Our next Monday meeting on May 11th will be in the Red Room of Kidlington Baptist Church Hall (not at the Red Lion), starting at 19:30.
We will consider if we need a name change for KvsCC, and if there is time discuss positive developments in dealing with global warming.
We decided to keep our name as is but add a sub-title with a positive tone, encouraging people to come to meetings. We will try different venues for meetings.
Our next Monday meeting will be in the Blue Room of Kidlington Baptist Church Hall (not at the Red Lion), starting at 19:30.
After a short annual general meeting we aim to discuss some Reasons to be Cheerful on the issue of Climate Change.
A first reason to be cheerful will be presented by Anthony Simpson of the Low Carbon Hub about a proposed community funded ground mounted solar project near Kidlington: @LowCarbonHub
We hold an open meeting on the second Tuesday of every month at 20:00, usually at the Red Lion in Kidlington (Have your evening meal at the Red Lion while we discuss local and global issues). If there is to be a different venue it will be announced here in good time.
If we have your email address we will remind you of these meetings, and if there is a change of date or venue. To be added to our mailing list and hear about new events and activities please email KidlingtonvsClimateChange@yahoo.co.uk
